During the cold winter nights from December 19 –24, join us in Loretto Chapel for A Baroque Christmas and hear heartwarming music performed by the Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble. The concerts open with Telemann’s brilliantly imaginative Burlesque de Don Quixote, followed by Leclair’s introspective Sonata No. 8 for Flute and Viola, and Handel’s sunny organ concerto The Cuckoo and the Nightingale. The concert’s centerpiece features soprano soloists on alternate evenings, Clara Rottsolk in Handel’s joyous Gloria and Dominique Labelle in Vivaldi’s dramatic In Furore.
